Poet Kabir narrated the importance of teachers in his couplet:“Guru Gobind Dou Khade, Kaake Lagoon Pay. Balihari Guru Aapne Gobind Diyo Batay”(Guru and God both are here to whom should I first bow? All glory be unto the guru, path to God who did bestow).
The Influence of a Good Teacher can Never be Ignored
Every teacher leaves a significant role in a student’s life, more or less every student will be thankful to their teachers not only for their teaching method but for the guidance they have got in their life from those teachers. There are some traits that we can find in good teacher –Motivator – A good teacher is the one who possesses true capabilities to inspire you, motivate you towards your work and achieving your goals.
Mentor – He/she thoroughly knows you. Your high points, some of your lower points. He/she is the one who will make you strong enough to take your decision.
Guide – At a point of time, he/she becomes a guide for life who leads you towards your destination.
Instructor – For some, teachers are an instructor who instructs him/her how to do each step or how to move forward in life.
