Cashier Time Cutoff

Cashiers collecting fees at the school counter can only open the cashier panel within the school hours you configure. Once the cutoff passes the panel closes, so no counter collection is recorded outside the working day.

Missing Transaction Capture

When an online payment reaches the gateway but does not post against the student, the cashier captures it in a single step from the payment capture page, keeping Vawsum reconciled with your gateway records.

Sequential Payment Enforcement

A month cannot be paid while an earlier month is still fully outstanding, so dues are cleared in order rather than parents paying the current month and leaving arrears behind indefinitely.

Previous Year Dues Block

Parents can be prevented from paying the current year's fees while any fee book from the previous academic year remains outstanding, so old arrears surface rather than being quietly carried forward.

Late Fine Logic Per Fee Book

Different fee books can carry entirely different late fine rules, so tuition, transport and hostel each follow the policy your institution actually applies to them.

Bulk Edit and Concession Templates

Edit standard fees for a whole class-section at once, and apply header-wise, month-wise discounts through reusable concession templates rather than adjusting students one at a time.

Yes you can. You need not pick the other modules of Vawsum

2. Does it have Online Payment Gateway integration?

Yes. Vawsum integrates directly with Razorpay, PayU, SabPaisa, Easebuzz, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, IDFC First Bank, Bandhan Bank, Indian Bank and Punjab National Bank. The integration takes about 2 minutes – you only need to configure your merchant key and secret key. We also support Razorpay and Axis Bank POS machines for card collections at the fee counter. 3. I do not have any Documents. Can I still go online?

We have a special module called Quick Fees for that. Please give us a call for more details

4. Do you provide software for fees collection at counter?

Yes, our software support both cash and online fees collection.

5. Can we stop cashiers collecting fees outside school hours?

Yes. The cashier panel is restricted to the school hours you configure. Once the cutoff time passes, cashiers can no longer access the panel, so no counter collection is recorded outside the working day.

6. How do Parents pay fees?

Parents can pay in Cash at school. They can Online through the Web or App as well.

7. I have special rules for Late Fine. Can you configure?

Yes, we can customise the solution to your requirement

8. I collect fees in multiple instalments in a month. Is it possible?

Yes, our system supports multiple fees collection in a month. You can generate separate receipts for them as well.

9. How long does it take to go live?

We can configure the system in a few hours if we have all the data

10. Can parents skip a month and pay a later one?

Not while the earlier month is fully outstanding – the system enforces payment in sequence. Where the earlier month has been partly paid, the next month can be collected, so a family paying in instalments is not blocked while genuine arrears still surface.

11. Can we stop parents paying this year while last year is unpaid?

Yes. Parents can be prevented from paying the current year’s fees while any fee book from the previous academic year remains outstanding, so old arrears are dealt with rather than carried forward indefinitely.

12. Can different fee books have different late fine rules?

Yes. Each fee book can carry its own late fine logic, so tuition, transport, hostel and library follow the policy your institution actually applies to each rather than a single rule imposed across all of them.

13. Can we edit fees for a whole class at once?

Yes. Standard fees for a class-section can be edited in bulk, and concessions can be given across multiple headers and multiple months through reusable concession templates rather than student by student.

14. Can a receipt be cancelled after later months have been paid?

No. A receipt cannot be cancelled once a later month has been paid in full, which keeps the ledger consistent rather than leaving a gap in the middle of a paid sequence.

15. What if an online payment does not show against a student?

The cashier can capture the missing transaction in a single step from the payment capture page, so the payment posts against the correct student and Vawsum stays reconciled with your payment gateway records.
