# Will 12-month scholarships start from the Date of allotment?

## Do 12-month scholarships start from the date of allotment?

Yes. A scholarship runs for 12 months from its start date, so the period follows whenever it was allotted — March to March, June to June, and so on — rather than aligning to a fixed academic year.

### How the 12-month period is counted

1. The scholarship runs for 12 months, such as March to March or June to June.
2. It continues for 12 months from the start date.
